In this paper, we address the problem of admission control in the heavy load context for an OFDMA-based LTE networks. In order to guarantee the desired quality of service (QoS) for all user admitted in the cell, we formulate a new sufficient condition depending on the user channels' condition and required bit rate while considering a restriction on the transmitted power per sub-channel. Different users in the cell are categorized into three classes based on their radio channel's conditions. We develop two different admission control policy: an opportunistic approach allowing to serve initially users having the best radio channel conditions and a democratic like admission control policy which represents proportionally the three users'classes like an electoral system. Moreover, we consider the case of heterogeneous network where two types of traffic GBR and BE coexist. So, we aim to satisfy initially GBR users with the QoS needed and then sharing the remaining resources among the BE users. Simulation results are given to corroborate the performance of the proposed approaches. |
