Abstract | ||

Due to the increasing signifcance of fast component technologies and the increasing complexity ol printed circuit boards, electromagnetic phene mena, e.g. rellections and crosstalk, gain more and more importance and may even diaturb the function of a printed circuit board. In the future, it will be indispensable to consider phenomena of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) already during layout synthesis. In thii paper robust methods are presented which, for the first time, make it possible to incorporate complex EMC-constrainta and EMCcost criteria into printed circuit board routing. The results achieved 80 far are reported. |
