Title
Improving the robustness in railway station areas.
Abstract
•Minimizing the real travel time is introduced as a practical robustness measure.•Optimizing the train routing, all potential headway conflicts are considered.•An interaction between routing and timetabling is essential in large stations.•Different scenarios can be optimized, analyzed and compared with our model.
