At present, web users have the need to create their own professional content and share with others. Under this situation, CommunyFilm arises and it is based on the collaborative creation of audiovisual products. CommunyFilm establishes a new mode of producing contents that differs a lot from the traditional way in economic, social and artistic terms: reducing production costs, generating a democratisation in the creative process -allowing any person getting involved in the project-, and breaking some of the deepest principles in the audiovisual context. To carry out this idea, a software platform is needed in order to allow people to participate in community projects and get in touch with other users. This paper provides an overview of the application that was created following the idea of CommunyFilm. The main purpose is to create an online platform where users and groups can share their creations, which will be rated by the community to eventually form a complete audiovisual product. |
