Title
XCHOKE: Malicious Source Control for Congestion Avoidance at Internet Gateways
Abstract
This paper describes an algorithm to control flows from non-adaptive sources in the Internet in a simple and lightweight fashion. The paper presents experimental results from simulationsthat demonstrate that the algorithm outperforms current well-known algorithms for buffer management in providing better protection for TCP flows under varying degrees of attack fromnon-adaptive flows.
