Abstract | ||

This work applies methods of nonlinear dynamics to examine the steady-state behaviour of sigma-delta modulators with periodic input signals. We consider both discrete-time and continuous-time modulators and include the effect of leaky integration, a common circuit imperfection. We show how the integrator imperfection has a significant and qualitative effect on the dynamics. |
