In the last few years information retrieval from the Internet has become one of the most important aims of computer science. This paper suggests a new way to help users of search engines. The fact is that nowadays the most famous search engines are very fast and good for finding documents related to a user's query, but, does a user know how to express himself in a simple query? The answer is usually no. The purpose of a query expander is to suggest many different queries based on all the ones other users did before. In this work, it is presented a way to expand a query based on the most popular user queries and its combinations. |
