Title
Query Expansion Based on the Most Popular User Queries
Abstract
In the last few years information retrieval from the Internet has become one of the most important aims of computer science. This paper suggests a new way to help users of search engines. The fact is that nowadays the most famous search engines are very fast and good for finding documents related to a user's query, but, does a user know how to express himself in a simple query? The answer is usually no. The purpose of a query expander is to suggest many different queries based on all the ones other users did before. In this work, it is presented a way to expand a query based on the most popular user queries and its combinations.
