Abstract
•Paper considers bottleneck queueing where the timing of arrivals is endogenous.•Users are risk averse with general concave scheduling utility.•Queues are subject to varying degrees of random sorting.•The no residual queue property is defined and leads to simple results.•The no residual queue property holds in equilibrium under all regimes considered.
