Manufacturing RSM and Manufacturing Resource Sharing
Abstract
It has become a hot research topic in manufacturing system that manages the manufacturing system's life cycle resources uniformly, normally and effectively, realizes the sharing of remote and heterogeneous resources and optimizing the allocation of the manufacturing resources. The modeling and resource management approach of Resource Space Model (RSM) meet the needs of the requirements of managing the manufacturing resources in manufacturing system. RSM has become the optimal choice in current manufacturing system's resource sharing management. This paper applies the theory and method of RSM to build manufacturing system's resource space model (MS-RSM), and design the repository and search function of manufacturing resource based on RSM, and then realize the browser and search operations of the heterogeneous manufacturing resources. It provides a new efficient solution for the management of standardization of the manufacturing resource, and sharing and optimizing the allocation of the manufacturing resource.
