Title
The use of parallel genetic algorithms for optimization in the early design phases
Abstract
This paper deals with the use of genetic algorithms, which are integrated into a commercial CAE-system in such a way that all the CAE-systems functions can be used for evaluation and data processing. To reduce runtime, a parallelization of the fitness evaluation routine based on the CORBA technology is presented.
