This paper is devoted to ocean images. First we propose cr complete geometrical model accounting for refraction, diffraction, reflection, transmission and multiwave trains. Then we describe a specific algorithm for the rendering of coastal scenes using a particular illumination model for the scene and displacement mapping texture techniques to deal with multiwave trains.
