Abstract | ||

The mechanical access time is the significant factor of the performance of the disk arrays. This article is emphasized on the very aspect on the research of the synchronous disk array. A mechanical access time model of synchronous disk array is constructed in contrast with that of the single disk. Through the model, the characteristic of mechanical access time of synchronous disk array are analyzed, especially for the effect of the different number of disks. |
