By the method of the Navier-Stokes equations and second-order equation turbulence model, numerical simulation research on torpedo's flow fields and hydrodynamic characteristics was carried out, and compared with the theoretical results, the accuracy of numerical simulation method was verified. Focused on five force-body shapes with different parameters, the influences of the parameters in torpedo force-body shape design on the torpedo's flow fields and its hydrodynamic characteristics were analyzed, which has important value for the torpedo design in future. © 2011 IEEE. |
