General Platform of Location based Services in Ubiquitous Environment
Abstract
Ubiquitous computing is a new trend of information and communication technologies that enable information accessing to anything, by anyone, at anytime and anywhere. For mobile system, location based services is promising due to its novel working style and contents. Characteristics of ubiquitous applications and the relationship with location-based services are analysed. A general platform of locationbased services in ubiquitous environment is proposed.
