Title
Design and Development of Mobile Client Supporting Multiple Terminals Access
Abstract
The diversity of mobile terminals, the limitations of hardware and the instability of wireless networks have put forward challenges to the development of the mobile software which should be fit to the learners’ needs of learning in mobile environment. Based on the study of M-learning and semantic LCMS, the authors’ team has developed software which can satisfy the above demand. The software is developed in J2ME and meets the needs of multiple terminals access in mobile environment. It supports learners learning based on the course, chapter and knowledge point. It also supports learners customize learning content. The authors hope this paper will provide some reference to the studies in developing the M-learning system.
