An implantable wireless telemetry prototype is presented leading to a technique to enable a multi access scheme for the control of several implant devices. The prototype is used as a sensor node in WBANs, operating at ISM and MICS frequency bands. It offers frequency tunability and coordination based on the wireless power link, which is external to the implantable environment. This leads to a smaller, lower power implant that is more robust to changing network conditions. |
