Summary Smart metering can be understood like moving eyes to the grid resulting in new approaches of network analysis (power snap
shot analysis & voltage guard) for LV grids. Therefrom, realistic four wire models for low voltage (LV) grids and a large
sample of simulation data sets in future shall lead to optimized design of LV grids. New methods derived from PSSA will support
optimization of utilization with respect to loads as well as first of all integration of decentralized generation and electric
vehicles.
