Title
Linear Quadratic Control for Singulary Perturbed Systems with Actuator Failures: An LMI Approach
Abstract
This paper proposes a new methodology of reliable linear quadratic control for singularly perturbed with actuator failures. The controller is given in terms of the solution of a set of inequalities. An algorithm is proposed to solve those inequalities through the LMI (liner matrix inequality) formulation. An example is given to demonstrate that the designed controller can guarantee the system performance not only when the signals from the actuators are fully available but also when failures occur and the signals are partially obtainable
