Application of Hyperplane Real Coding Genetic Algorithm in Economic Operation for Pump Station
Abstract
In order to overcome the deficit of traditional real coding genetic algorithm for the optimization question with equality constraint, hyperplane real coding genetic algorithm is suggested. All genetic operations are constrained into a hyperplane. The new algorithm is used in real projects. Apply the new method into economic operation for pump station, and result shows that hyperplane real coding genetic algorithm is not only simple, but also accurate. Because equality constraints are often involved in optimization models for resources allocation, it is significant to spread the improved genetic algorithm.
