This paper considers three-stage switching networks able to support multicast traffic, i.e. connections in which one network inlet is connected to more than one network outlet at the same time. The non-blocking conditions for this network are reported here and discussed. An evaluation is carried out in order to show how the network complexity depends on the main network and traffic parameters, that is the switching matrix sizes and the type of multicast traffic. |
