Signal interpolation is an old problem that could be resolved by filtering techniques. A filter is used to determine the coefficients from the input samples and another filter is applied to obtain the interpolated values. In this paper we present some improved techniques for coefficients determination. The basis function is a cubic B-spline function. Some results for signal reconstruction and interpolation by a factor m=2 were presented in a previous work. Here are presented the results for signal interpolation by a factor m>2. The algorithms are implemented for some well known signals (like sine and cosine functions) and the results are discussed further. |
