Technical Challenges toward the Next Generation Mobile Phone Linux
Abstract
Recently mobile phones provide not only voice service but internet access, multi-media message services, games, local communication controllers and so on. Therefore, more productive software platforms are required. In this paper, we describe requirements for mobile phone Linux, solution candidate technologies to satisfy the requirements and issues for application and services based on Linux are widely deployed.
