Mixing synthesis and video images of outdoor environments: application to the bridges of Paris. |

Augmented reality is the technique by which real images can be enhanced by addition of computer-generated infor- mation. Augmented reality shows great promises in fields where a simulationin situ would be either impossible, not realistic enough or too expensive. We present in this paper an augmented reality loop that uses vision tools (perspec- tive inversion, tracking) and show how it was used to fully enrich a sequence of a bridge of Paris with a model illumi- nated synthetically. |
