Fingerprint identification is an important technology in the area of network security and identity authentication. This paper studies fingerprint identification by using a new mathematic method of binary function and its partial derivative and directional derivative. The method not only emphasizes on the characteristic of fingerprint, but also concerns about the singularity characteristic of fingerprint images, which increases the accuracy of fingerprint identification. Finally, simulation was performed to test the proposed algorithm with the use of Matlab, thereby the feasibility and rationality of the method were confirmed. |
