In North Carolina, welfare programs are state supervised and county administered. To properly manage welfare programs in such an environment, efficient timely communication of comprehensive information customized to each county is required between the state and the 100 counties in NC. In this session, we will demonstrate a well designed information system built to facilitate such communication. In particular, participants can view the dynamic website used to provide a comprehensive set of child welfare outcome measures to the counties. This public website assists counties in evaluating and ultimately improving their local programs. |
