Title
An Ofdm Baseband Receiver For Short-Range Communication At 60 Ghz
Abstract
In this paper, we present implementation details of the digital front end of a wideband OFDM baseband receiver. This receiver offers datarates up to 1.08 GBit/s using a channel bandwidth of 400 MHz. The full baseband has been successfully implemented and tested on a FPGA platform running at a clock speed of only 100 MHz. It is part of a complete 60 GHz demonstrator including MAC, PITY and analog front end. In addition, we give performance results under realistic radio link assumptions for the 480 MBit/s mode to demonstrate the efficiency of the algorithms.
