Abstract
The Special Sensor Microwave Imager/Sounder (SSMIS) calibration and Earth scene fields-of-view (FOV) are examined using sensor diagnostic modes, a graphic simulation of the SSMIS and spacecraft vehicle, and an electromagnetic analysis of the SSMIS antenna.
