Title
A DSP-based underwater communication modem using electric current method
Abstract
Electric-current communication method has been considered to be a feasible solution to explore in case of short-range distance. Compared to underwater acoustic communication, electric-current communication method shows its advantages such as fast propagation, high band width and being not prone to noise due to mechanical movement. In this paper, a high-speed digital communication modem using electric current method is designed and evaluated. Long-time temperature monitoring and data retrieval are achieved with this platform in our experiments.
