Title
Vehicle Information Communication Safety Combined with Mobile RFID System
Abstract
The related technologies of radio frequency identification (RFID) applications are interested these years. The reason is the breakthroughs in semiconductor and wireless technology, so that the size of RFID devices could be reduced within a small space. Thus for different application scenarios, RFID devices could be redesigned as various forms or behaviors to adapt. The more added values provided by the RFID characteristic, the batter RFID applications are expected to compete with bar-code system in the future. In this paper, the RFID system has also been applied in vehicle information communication safety which uses wireless communications to provide passenger information and services. In this paper, the vehicle safety combined with mobile RFID system, which includes five functions. The system composed of small tags embedded around vehicle, scanners also known as reader, Geographic Information System (GIS), mobile devices and Electronic Product Code (EPC) middleware. The middleware function is implemented to drive reader and connect server. The program of the system development has been ensured safety of passenger and vehicle safety real time.
