Quality Of Service In Soa Environments. An Overview And Research Agenda
Abstract
Interoperability and componentization are the two defining characteristics of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). From a middleware perspective this means standardized quality of service (QoS) protocols and QoS-rich service descriptions. This paper provides an architectural overview of quality of service issues in SOA environments and a review of open problems and current research directions.double right arrow double right arrow double right arrow Zusammenfassung Interoperabilitat und Komponentenorientierung sind zwei definierende Eigenschaften Service-orientierter Architekturen (SOA). Aus Sicht der Middleware benotigt man dazu standardisierte Unterstutzung fur Quality of Service (QoS) in Protokollen und Servicebeschreibungen. Dieser Beitrag gibt eine Einfuhrung in QoS-Aspekte von SOA-Umgebungen und einen Uberblick uber offene Probleme und aktuelle Forschungsfragen.
