Title
A continuous video stream system architecture to provide QoS based on objective metrics
Abstract
The video streaming systems generates a demand of real-time communication services. In general, the deployment or configuration of the transmission system to achieve the specified service requirements relays on setting network parameters to a specified network performance. However, mapping video quality requirements to network parameters are not a trivial task, given the difficult to evaluate video quality as perceived by the end user. In this context, this paper proposes an architecture over IP (Internet Protocol) networks to provide QoS for video streaming systems based on objective video quality metrics.
