This paper introduces a real time model-based human motion analysis system using two orthogonal views. The goal of the system is to analyze the motion of the human object without using any markers on the object. The system will generate the corresponding body definition parameters (BDPs) and body animation parameters (BAPs) defined by MPEG-4. With the BDPs and a sequence of BAPs, a real-time virtual actor can be synthesized on various platforms. |
