This paper presents a peer-to-peer address distribution protocol – called Address and Domain Allocation Protocol – designed for Ambient Networks utilizing the identifier/locator split. The protocol focuses on the optimal distribution and management of the IP locators used within the Ambient Networks. The paper describes the protocol in details and presents the results of our measurements. |
