Title
A Method of Two-Handed Gesture Interactions with Applications Based on Commodity Devices
Abstract
Recently, progresses on human-computer interface enable more intuitive and natural communications between humans and sensor-based devices in some fields such as game interaction and medical image processing. But the most traditional human-computer interface still dominates in our daily life, so we propose a new method of two-handed gesture interactions for controlling applications based on commodity devices such as Wiimote. Our main goal is to construct a unified way for interacting with the computers and their application systems or home appliances. The proposed system allows users to track their finger movements in 3D space and define each gesture's function by using the commodity devices.
