Title
Instrumentation of AspectJ Programs: An Exploratory Study
Abstract
This paper reports on an exploratory study investigating the feasibility of using aspect-oriented constructs to instrument aspects. Program instrumentation is a technique used by programmers for debugging, testing and monitoring purposes. Aspect-orientation itself is a technique for program instrumentation. However, the possibility of using aspect-oriented constructs to instrument aspects has not been fully explored yet.
