Title
Distributed security agent modeling in the policy-based networking
Abstract
This paper presents the design and modeling of distributed network security agents based on policy-based networking (PBN) which has some merits. Configuring a high number of routers, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), or servers by generic rules instead of individual configuration appears to be less complex, less error-prone and more flexible. The need arises for systems to coordinate with one another, to manage diverse attacks across networks. For that, we have designed the policy-based framework which has distributed intrusion detection agents and diverse network components.
