In this paper, a brand-new web architecture model based on XML is presented. First, an open framework of browser is provided
which can add in new XML-based markup language support easily by plugging a browser extension. In this framework, we use browser
extension to access the XML document via DOM interface and to manipulate the visualized page via VPOM (Visualized Page Object
Module) interface. On the other hand, to support the client requirement, an XML repository should be built. It can manage
XML objects storage/access as well as support XML queries with high performance. This repository should be capable of inter-operating
with other repository, which is compliant with our repository access interface standard.
