This paper proposes a new dots homogenization algorithm in digital screening technology. The algorithm provides a solution about homogenizing the maximal surface size of each screen dot as far as possible. The paper also provides an objective quality statistical method to judge the dot homogenization level. The technique has solved moiré patterns phenomenon when printing in traditional pattern for the random of dot. Output image is more accurate and more soft since screen dots are more even. It has a low request for equipment and subsequent handling, and entirely meet the needs of traditional printing technology. |
