Abstract | ||

The overall goal is to show that conceptual spaces are more promising than other ways of modelling the semantics of natural
language. In particular, I will show how they can be used to model actions and events. I will also outline how conceptual
spaces provide a cognitive grounding for word classes, including nouns, adjectives, prepositions and verbs.
