At present, the students in vocational and higher training colleges have a universal problem that they are not good at autonomous learning. Innovating traditional models of instruction and creating IT-based autonomous learning environment are imperative. It seems that establishing an e-Learning platform is an effective method. Claroline is regarded as one of the most popular open source learning management systems (LMS). It is very fit for vocational and higher training colleges to build an e-Learning platform, at the same time the teacher should match e-Learning model in teaching. Only in this way is it possible to foster students' capability of autonomous learning. To better illustrate this architecture, in this paper, we introduce the Claroline into class. And then, we design an instructional framework and model with which the teacher can build E-Learning Platform in Vocational and Higher Training College easily. Finally, some shortcomings about using this E-Learning platform in instruction are outlined. |
