We construct auto-similar tilings of the plane with the same expansion coefficient lambda is an element of C, a complex Perron number, from free group endomorphisms characterized by a class of matrices with the same complex Perron eigenvalue lambda. We define a relation between the interior and the board of the tiles and obtain some results about topological invariants of the tilings. |
