Unfolding Convex Polyhedra via Quasigeodesics
Abstract
Abstract We show that cutting shortest paths from every vertex of a convex polyhedron to a simple closed quasigeodesic, and cutting all but a short segment of the quasigeodesic, unfolds the surface to a planar simple polygon.
