Title
A feedrate pre-schedule NURBS interpolation method for high-speed machining
Abstract
A feedrate pre-schedule NURBS interpolation method is proposed, in which the feedrate is scheduled off-line before real-time interpolation according cutting path and machine-tool capability. The interpolation procedure and key technology are discussed. The case studies are conducted. The simulation and interpolation experiment suggests that the proposed interpolation method can effectively reduce the acceleration and jerk, and enhance contour precision. The interpolation time is acceptable. Hence this feedrate pre-schedule NURBS interpolation method is an practice way for solving the contradiction between high feedrate and high precision in high-speed machining.
