Title
Enhancement Of Fmri Image Series With The Aid Of An Anatomical Image
Abstract
The aim of this work is to enhance fMRI image series with the use of a high resolution, high SNR anatomical image. We propose a procedure to incorporate statistical information from the anatomical image into the image series, using a Bayesian framework in the wavelet domain. The procedure enhances the SNR and spatial resolution of the image series. Simulation experiments show that the enhancement improves the activation detection ability.
