Abstract: Monitoring a large telecommunication network results in an extensivelog of alarms of different types that occurred in the system. Similar logfiles are also produced in mobile commerce, in web applications, and inmobile services. Such logs, event sequences, consist of pairs (e,t), wheree is an event type and t is the occurrence time. A subsequence consist ofall the observed events of one or more types. |
