Title
Customising e-Learning-Processes - Towards a Decision Support System for the Individual Selection of e-Learning Services in Academic Teaching Processes
Abstract
This paper presents a method supporting decisions for the selection of information systems in the context of electronically supported teaching and learning. Existing approaches are supplemented by considering individual context factors and teachers' configuration desires. The supported selection process ranges from the specification of situational characteristics of the teaching process to an individual selection of required e learning services. Thanks to a process-oriented approach, functionalities of e-learning systems as well as non-automated activities are identified. This comprehensive approach enables teachers to select an information system appropriate for an individually planned learning scenario, which further consists of both automated and non-automated parts.
