An optimizing method for bus-only signal based on Fuzzy Control
Abstract
Based on bus priority, a method using fuzzy control technique on signal system of single four-phase intersection is proposed in this article, which uses bus-arrival time and queue length of social vehicles for input. Taking the intersection of Chegongzhuang West Road and Shouti South Road for instance, bus-only signal is joined on the basis of the original signal control scheme, and fuzzy controller is built with Fuzzy Control Toolbox of MATLAB to optimize the bus-only signal timing as to achieve the bus priority while reducing its impact on the social traffic.
