Scenario Analysis Using Embedded Technology Roadmap For A Digital Video System Platform For Family Use Development
Abstract
This study proposes a scenario analysis with technology roadmap embedded in a digital video system platform for family use in Taiwan. The analytical process involves eight steps:1 identifying the target product and its function items2 mapping the technology matrix to the product3 identifying the technological gap in relation to required technology level4 recognising key decision factors5 selecting the axis of uncertainty6 specifying and polishing scenarios7 completing technology roadmap development8 investigating the implications of decisions.Three targeted scenarios are developed and seven selected technological attributes are selected to complete the technology roadmap.
