This paper aims to present Emergency Management Systems (EMS) as System-of-Systems (SoS). Because of the huge number of pre-existing systems in the field of emergency management, moving toward building a SoS becomes necessary by re-using and integrating existing ones. In a standalone system, architecting process means implementing the client requirements. In SoS environment, architectural constraints imposed by existing systems can have a major influence on system-of-systems architecting process. |
