The present paper describes a new arrangement that combines in a single unit a rectifier filter and a dc-dc converter. The performances are further improved by magnetically coupling the two inductors contained in the circuit. The filter and the dc-dc converter unit behave as a dc current source. Simulation and experimental results strengthen the theoretical approach. |
